Consejo Audiovisual de Andalucia decided to engage a UX designer to help them revamp the website.
The Consejo Audiovisual de Andalucia (Andalusian Audiovisual Council) noticed that their website was outdated and difficult to navigate for citizens looking for information on media regulation, broadcasting licenses, and other important information related to the audiovisual sector in Andalusia.
The UX designer began by facilitating workshops for ideation with the Consejo Audiovisual staff and other stakeholders. During these workshops, the designer used techniques like card sorting and competitive research to gather insights into what users wanted and needed from the website.
After gathering insights, the UX designer used heuristics to create new prototypes based on the findings. These prototypes were presented to stakeholders and tested for usability and effectiveness.
Based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing, the UX designer refined the prototypes and began the development phase. Working with a web development team, the designer oversaw the creation of a new, user-friendly website that made it easy for citizens to find the information they needed regarding the audiovisual sector in Andalusia.
Finally, the new website was deployed to users and tested for usability and effectiveness. The Consejo Audiovisual de Andalucia was thrilled with the results, and citizens now had a much easier time navigating the website to find the information they needed. The staff at the Consejo Audiovisual also found it much easier to update and maintain the website, thanks to the UX designer’s work.
