As a UX designer, I had the opportunity to design and develop a web service for remote health assistance.

The service allowed patients to connect with medical professionals for consultations and follow-up appointments, all from the comfort of their own homes. To ensure the success of the project, I used a user-centered approach that focused on the needs of both the patients and medical professionals.

I began by conducting user research to understand the needs and behaviors of both patients and medical professionals. This helped me design the information architecture and user interface of the web service. I created user stories that followed the user journey, taking into account the different needs and expectations of patients and medical professionals.

Final prototypes

Once the information architecture was in place, I began designing the user interface. The design needed to be easy to navigate and understand, as many patients using the service would not have extensive technical knowledge. I used a design system that included reusable components and guidelines for typography, colors, and spacing to ensure consistency across the service.

One of the key features of the service was the video consultation functionality. I designed and developed an interface that allowed patients and medical professionals to communicate via video call, ensuring that patients received the same quality of care as they would in-person. The interface was intuitive and easy to use, and included features such as screen sharing and document sharing.

Throughout the project, I worked closely with the development team to ensure that the design was implemented correctly and that the service was optimized for performance. I also conducted user testing to gather feedback and make adjustments to the design as needed.

As a result of my contributions, the web service for remote health assistance was a success. Patients were able to receive medical care from the comfort of their own homes, and medical professionals were able to provide quality care remotely. The design was user-friendly and easy to navigate, and the video consultation functionality was a key feature that made the service a success.

Overall, my experience designing and developing this web service was challenging, but rewarding. It allowed me to apply my skills in user research, information architecture, and user interface design, and to work collaboratively with a development team to create a successful product.
